The Seminar

The seminar will address key challenges and opportunities in shaping a secure and sovereign digital future.

Key topics include digital security of critical infrastructure – especially in energy and digital networks – innovation and AI for societal and economic resilience, e-Health, e-Identity, and e-Government, as well as lessons from Finnland & Estonia. 

Highlights

  • Explore Finland’s resilient power supply, including a visit to the ONKALO spent nuclear fuel repository
  • Discover and apply the best practices in Digitalization and Cybersecurity from Estonia Government, companies such as Helmes and Nortal
  • Visit of the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCDCOE)

The participants

The guest list includes members of parliament, C-level representatives of federal and cantonal authorities, academic and business leaders.

The Onkalo spent nuclear fuel repository is a deep geological repository for the final disposal of spent nuclear fuel. It is near the Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant in the municipality of Eurajoki, on the west coast of Finland.

NATO CCDCOE has been at the forefront of cyber defence since 2008, bringing together cutting‑edge research, training, and exercises to strengthen collective resilience in cyberspace. The Centre unites experts from dozens of nations — across military, government, academia, and industry — working on technology, strategy, operations, and cyber law to tackle global cyber threats. CCDCOE organizes flagship initiatives such as the live‑fire exercise Locked Shields — the largest cyber‑resilience exercise in the world — and the international cyber conference CyCon, reinforcing cooperation and expertise across borders.
